Not to mention that almost 20 years later, you could sell a clean Fox for more than a first generation SN-95, with the 5.0 motor.  :thumb:

When I first went looking for a project/something to mod, I knew I wanted something small with a V8. That pretty much meant it had to be a mustang. Used to have an '84 camaro, fun car but didn't want another. I test drove a black SN-95... beautiful car, but the acceleration was pathetic and the interior made it feel like I was driving a boat. Found my '92, while frankly I think foxes lean to the ugly side, the car was so much quicker (4:10's already in it), cheaper by about $5000 and just flat-out felt right. Been tempted to sell it numerous times, but just can never quite bring myself to part with her..

Yesterday at work, my partner (a big mopar guy) started flipping through my MM&FF magazine and said he never knew how many aftermarket parts there are for the mustang. I told him you can build a mustang from the frame up with brand new parts. Can't do that with any other older car.

The 4eye fox is like he best one. it has more versions or trims. Plus I grew up with mine pretty much. and its whole life it was pretty much unstoppable not even the 97 flood could keep it down. There fairly rare atleast around here they are.

Well I grew up in the early 90s and that was the coolest car on the road so now I am older and have some money I had to have one.   Not the favorite car I own but it is up there.  Nothing will ever beat my 69 428 CJ.

I wanted a muscle car as my first car.
There was an '89 t-top camaro I wanted to get but my parents didn't come around until I saw my mustang for sale.
I knew nothing about them when I got it. I knew the body style, but didn't know it had 4-eyes.
I wasn't a big fan at first but I sure am now.

My first car was a 86 Mustang coupe with a 4 banger and my dad had a 90 Mustang Lx 5.0 he bought brand new. Plus I was growing up in the 80's when teh cars were popular back then and knew had to have one. Now I own an 87 coupe xfhp car.

Why? because it's the mustang that kept the mustang from becoming extinct. :thumb:

Your car needs to be pretty pimped and nice to get any girls.
Guess mine is too beat.
